When it makes sense to call me

If any of these sound familiar, let’s talk
01

A relative has died and you do not know whether to accept, renounce, or how much you will pay.

02

The heirs cannot agree and the distribution has been stalled for months.

03

You want everything settled in your lifetime so nobody argues afterwards.

How we work

01

You tell me about your case

Video call, phone or in person across València province. No commitment, no legalese.

02

I tell you your options

With the timeline, cost and risk of each route. In plain words, in writing if you prefer.

03

We see it through

You always deal with me, never with an intern. I flag every step before taking it.

Frequently asked questions

How long do I have to accept an inheritance?+

The tax has a six-month deadline from the date of death, extendable by another six if requested in time. Acceptance itself does not lapse the same way, but the tax clock rules: it is worth running the numbers before it runs out, especially if there are debts.

Can I disinherit a child?+

Only on the grounds set out in the law, and by stating it precisely in the will. Outside those grounds, the forced share stands. There is legitimate room for planning — gifts, preferential shares, insurance — and that is what we usually review together.

What if the estate costs more than it is worth?+

There is renunciation, and acceptance under benefit of inventory, which limits your liability to what the estate contains. It is a decision made with the figures in front of you; running the numbers before signing anything is exactly what avoids the nasty surprise.

Losing someone is hard enough. My job is to keep the paperwork and the difficult decisions from becoming a second loss.
