1. Our commitment
Acerete Abogados is committed to making acereteabogados.es usable by the widest possible audience, including people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities. We treat digital accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-off task, and we review the site periodically to identify and correct barriers.
2. Conformance status
We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. This is a voluntary commitment: Royal Decree 1112/2018 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications is legally mandatory for the public sector, but we have chosen to apply its criteria as good practice on our own site.
3. Measures we take
- Semantic, well-structured HTML with headings that reflect the content hierarchy.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and icons.
- A colour palette and text sizing designed to provide sufficient contrast and to remain legible when the browser's zoom or text-size settings are increased.
- A layout that adapts to different screen sizes, orientations and input methods, including keyboard-only navigation.
- Clear, consistent navigation and link text that makes sense out of context.
4. Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology
This site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge) and to be compatible with common assistive technologies, such as screen readers (for example, NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver), screen magnifiers and voice-recognition software. It does not depend on a specific mouse, touch or keyboard input method.
5. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible — for example, certain embedded third-party content (such as maps or booking widgets) that we do not fully control, or older documents published before this statement. We are working to identify and correct these limitations over time.
